Q: What should I bring to my first dental visit?
A: You should bring the following items with you to
your first exam:
|
Health
insurance card and dental insurance information. |
|
Any
x-rays you have had taken in the past 2 years. |
|
Any
names of dental specialists (periodontist, orthodontist,
endodontist, etc) you are currently seeing or have
seen before. |
|
A
list of all prescription and non-prescription medications
you are currently taking or have taken recently. |
Q: Will dental treatment hurt?
A: We use topical and local anesthetics and offer nitrous
oxide (laughing gas) to ensure the comfort of our patients.
In special cases, we can premedicate prior to dental
appointments if necessary. We can also prescribe oral medication to reduce or eliminate pre-treatment anxiety.
Q: How do I pay for dental services?
A: We accept most insurance. We
also accept cash, checks, credit cards and an extended payment plan called "Care Credit"
when extensive treatment is needed. See Financial Information.
